I started running in my early teens. Much like Forrest Gump, I just started running! While many people are motivated by competition, I was motivated by something less tangible. I discovered that not only did my body feel strong and fit, but my mental and emotional health reaped the rewards. Fast forward several decades and I’m still running! I decided to become a running coach to share with women all this incredible sport has to offer.
I have enjoyed running distances from 5K to 50 miles, with ultras being my favorite. Outside of running, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, and hanging out with our assortment of critters. Most of all, I cherish spending time with my incredible husband and two amazing daughters.
